How to Prepare
hot jasmine tea
- Measure the Jasmine Buds: Use 2-3 teaspoons of dried jasmine buds per cup of tea.
- Heat the Water: Bring fresh water to a boil, then let it cool slightly to about 75-80°C (167-176°F) for a gentle brew.
- Rinse: Pour a small amount of hot water over the jasmine buds, wait 30 seconds, and discard the first rinse to remove impurities and enhance the flavor.
- Steep: Pour the hot water over the rinsed jasmine buds and let steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the buds, or leave them in the cup for a natural, aromatic experience.
- Optional Enhancements: Add honey or a slice of lemon for extra flavor.
