How to Prepare
cold milk rose bud tea
Ingredients
- 1-2 teaspoons dried rose buds
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1-2 teaspoons honey or sweetener (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Steep the Rose Buds: Boil 1 cup of water and pour it over the dried rose buds. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes to extract the floral flavor.
- Strain the Tea: Once the tea has steeped, strain the rose buds and discard them.
- Sweeten the Tea: Stir in honey or your preferred sweetener while the tea is still warm.
- Cool the Tea: Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, or refrigerate it for a faster chill.
- Prepare the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk on medium heat until warm, but not boiling. Alternatively, you can use cold milk if you prefer a colder drink.
- Combine Tea and Milk: Once the tea has cooled, pour it into a glass filled with ice cubes. Then, add the warm milk and stir gently.
- Serve and Enjoy: Stir the mixture and enjoy the smooth, floral richness of cold milk rose bud tea.
